AP Expedite Request

I have sent by fax to request expediting my AP because my 74 year old father is going to have a surgery in June. My AP filed by the end of Feb, 04. But I have not received any response from VSC yet after about a week. Anybody have the similar situation? Please share. Thanks.

I sent AP application to VSC, which was received on 11/29/03. As my father got in a hospital for a surgery in March, I asked to expedite; however, I was told that such a request would be considered only if my father was really dying and I had some document by a doctor to prove it. So, if you just mentioned your father's surgery, I am afraid VSC might not accept your request. Good news is now processing at VSC seems to be speeding up. As you may have read, iamgctracker reported AP received on 2/18/04 was already approved. I hope you are not as unlucky as myself - my AP has not been approved yet. Good luck!
