AP Emergency Renewal

My Advance parole expired recently. My Husband is a green card holder. We need to travel to India on an emergency purpose as my grandmother is in a very critical situation. We already e-filed the AP and received a receipt number. This receipt number is not showing up in the online search.

Is there anyone who went through a similar situation? What would be the best way to acquire an emergency Advance Parole as I have all the required emergency documents from India from the Hospital.

Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.
 
Hi

I suggest you make urgent appointment for an info pass and take proof of emergency with you and see if they can rubber stamp your approval. Take new downloaded forms with your too. Also sepak to your consulate office based in the USA, although they cannot alter or interfere with US immigration laws, they may well pick up the phone and speak to a supervisor at info pass office in support of your urgent travel document
 
Thank you for responding to this. We tried this. Unfortunately, we can’t get info pass appointment for this month as it is full for the month. Do you suggest anything else? I am thinking about calling 800 number first thing on Monday morning to see if they can help us out in getting an appointment at local USCIS office.
 
Emergency Advance Parole issued in a week

I would like to share this information with anyone who is looking for an Emergency AP. TSC had issued my Emergency AP in a week and that was really amazing. I had contacted the TSC and the I/O gave me the Fax number for :

Mr. Davis Roark (TSC, Direcor)
214-962-2632

I had faxed the emergency letter, 485 receipt copy and my AP reciept number which I had e-filed.

Then got a call from DHS asking me to send two photographs and again the copies of all of the above which I sent by fedex.

Next day case got approved and the AP arrived at my door in express mail the day after that.

I wanted to share this information so that no one goes through all the tension that I had to for getting my AP. Hope this Information helps.

Thanks for sharing this Information. My Advance Parole application went to Nebraska Service Center. Can we get the emergency A.P by any chance from them ?.

AP2008, Can you give some info about the emergency letter ?. What exactly is the emergency letter ?. How can I get it ?.
