AP at Newark office-Please help

Just wonder if anybody got same-day AP at Newark office recently. My AP application is still pending at INS after 30days. Flight is next Wed. Is it still possible to get same-day AP at Newark? Any information is appreciated!
 
yup we did it

We got our emergency AP in one day but you need either death certificate of someone very close to you or proof of someone is seriously ill.

My wife's grandma had expired and we had her death certificate.
