AP at Local INS, NJ Non emergency reason (how long it takes to get)

any idea how long does NJ Local INS takes to issue Advanced Parole, for non emergency reasons, if one wants to get it.

If anyone got similar experience, pls share them.

aware that AP issued same day for emergency situations.

Hi,

We went to local INS for AP and got it same day
We went to Newark, NJ at 7:00 AM and stood in lines and got AP and were out by 4:00PM, so its a long wait but results are good.

You need to take , you I485 receipts, passports.. and its good to take what ever you have(like H1visa, EAD cards....)
Fill form I131 and take it with you!!!
You can go anyday except wednesday

Can you tell me -

1. did you have to carry photographs (if yes, how many)?
2. did you pay by cash/check/mo?
3. what docs did they ask for / look at?

- Did you get your AP for the first time or it was a renewal ?. I need to get it for the first time.

- From yr reply, even for non emergency reasons, they issue AP same day ?
