Applied for I-485/AP/EAD all at the same time at NSC.
Need to travel immediately, can I apply for AP with local INS, Bloomington, MN.
Will this have any negative effect on my I-485 process in NSC?
NSC takes 4-5 months to approve PA and local INS takes only a week.
Please advise.
Thanks

Yes. My attorney told me once that you can apply for AP at the Bloomington office... it takes a maximum of 2 weeks to get an AP in normal mode. For emergency cases they issue one within 24 hours.
While I didn\'t file for an AP, I got my EAD at the Bloomington office.
Good Luck

Could you tell me what papers did your local INS office ask when you applied for EAD? Do you know if it is 90 days after your EAD RD that you can file for interim EAD at local INS office?

Hi MN_NSC,

Is that really true, we can apply EAD and AP at local INS?
I heard about some people got EAD and AP at local INS, are they same as the EAD and AP issued by NSC.

How long time period about your EAD, issued by local INS?

Hope I can get your reply.

Thanks

song,

You can apply EDA/AP at local INS office.

They will take picture at the same time for your EDA. The EDA will vaild at the same day you apply yfor our EDA. The period should be one year. (in my case)

You need two picture for your AP, and you can get it about 2-3 weeks.
