AP at Columbus INS Office

Hello Gurus,

I had applied for Advance parole at the Cincinati office, I received a postal Mail from the local Columbus INS office that they have received the application.
Has anybody got AP from the columbus INS office, if so how long does it take to get it.
Please post ur experience as I need AP for Urgent travel within a month.

How come your AP went to Columbus INS Office when you applied at Cincinnati, OH.

I am also in the process of applying for EAD and AP at Cincinnati
Local INS Office, may be in a couple of days my H1B Visa is expiring on NOV 30 02.

As per the Cincinnati INS office, it takes less than 2 months to
get the AP.

I had applied for my EAD extension too at cin office, but I received it from the local columbus INS office.
I am thinking the local INS office does the AP too, but I am not sure how long it takes. Anyone who must have had similar experience please post the time it takes to get AP ??? PLease

Thanks for the link. I too have done my EAD from the columbus INS office, but I am trying to see if anyone had experience getting the AP. Havn't seen any body taking abt getting AP in the local INS office

Me too applied EAD and AP at cincinati office, but I did received a letter of confirmation from INS columbus stating that they received my applications for EAD and AP. I'm still waiting to receive the approved applications. Let wait and see. Applied Aug 01st to cincinati office. Any info please post.
 
I thought it takes only 3-4 weeks to get appointment by mail for EAD from Cincinnati INS office, atleast that is what they told me, I am also going to apply for EAD at Cincinnati office in this week and my H1B expires on Nov 30th, so I better hurry.

FYI,
I went personally to the INS office on 9/20/02 and requested for my AP as I needed to travel to India.
The IIO told me to come after a week and Pick it up or said he could mail it to me. I went today 9/27/02 and picked the AP for both my wife and myself.
you can try calling them up and check on the status.
