AP at arlington,Va- answer please urgent.

We sent our AP application (including my wife\'s) to arlington,VA on 4th March but we are still to receive. The checks have been cleared a week back. Please let me know when we get our AP, we have to go to India urgently. Any body did get AP from arlington recently.
Please reply. How long does it take, I colleage of mine got in 16 days recently.

We received our\'s from Arlington in about 4 weeks. We were in a similar situation as you and we were prepared to appear personally in case we did not recieve the AP before travel time. I think you could try to appear personally if you do not receive that before you travel date.. along with you flight tickets and 485 notice and may be lucky enough if they do not question any emergency reason and approve. Most of the time people appear personally if there is an emergency with necessary Ceritificates(like doctor certificate faxed over in case some relative in sick in home country). I also know someone who personally appeared without any emergency situation and still got approved.
