We didn't attach I-140 Approval Notice.

I-140 approval notice is not required for AP

Only 485 receipt is requred for applying for AP.

Any applicants of AP for the first time or renewals please post your story. Different IIOs may or may not issue such RFE on I-140 approval notice for AP applications.

I-140 Approval is not required, if you attach I-485 Receipt, but......

it all dependes on the officer who is working on it. We are providing I-485 receipt and unless I-140 is approved we will not have Alien Number (A#). I have checked that atleast 10% applicants have received RFE with that ND 02/20/03, probably asking for I-140 copy. Samething happened to my friend also.
