AP Approved in under 4 weeks

Hello All:

I thought I will also do my bit of posting some updates here. I saw someone mention recently that his/her AP was approved in 4 weeks. So is mine - approved in under 4 weeks. I just checked my status and its approved.

I-485/I-140/I-131/I-765 - ND:11/17/2003

I-765 - Approved: 12/16/2003
I-131 - Approved: 01/15/2004

Sorry for guys waiting for an approval from earlier dates. I agree it's not fair.

That means that CIS has started issuing EAD’s before approving I-140’s. Is this a new trend or was I in the cave when this change happened? Just curious.

Sun07 Please do not send your AP back. The famous TSC will spend another month to identify what kind of application is that ,which will delay not only others AP but also our I 485 also.

Since the concurrent filling start, INS issue EAD before I-140 approval. I think EAD is related to I-485. You can apply for EAD if you filed I-485

Strange! My AP renewal was also approved in about a month. They received on Dec 3, 2003 and yesterday I already saw it in the mail. So was my wife's. Not long ago my lawyer said we would wait for 5 months. What a waste!
