AP approved => I-485 not denied?

Hi,

Some members in this forum said even if I-485 is denied, we have no way to know it since the online messages do not get updated most of the time. And we might not receive any denial notice either. That is dangerous because we could easily miss the deadline to appeal if we don't even know the denial. I just got my AP renewal approved last week, is that a good indication that my I-485 at least has not been denied? In other words, is it possible that AP still gets approved after I-485 is denied?

Please share your thoughts and experience.

Unless you have something to worry about like arrest/DUI/etc, you don't have to worry. Also your attorney will get a notice of "intent to deny", if at all USCIS decides so.
