ap approved - how long to receive papers?

My ap was approved on dec 13th (nd 5/15). The online msg says it was mailed on the same date. We have a death in the family last week and so have to leave for india asap.

1) how long does it take to receive a mail from tsc??
2) can i take off and have my attorney mail the papers to India when he gets it?

I got it in 3 days (last year), ap papers goes to lawyer.

Depending on your location, usually 3 to 7 days. In my area in Tennessee it is just three days.
Sorry about the death in the family!
