AP approved after filing online

I was getting worried about my AP.I filed it online on September 10th.Today (November 23rd) I called National Service center to ask them about procedure of getting an emergency advance parole.30 min later I have got an e-mail with the approval notice.
By the way here is the procedure: One have to request to expedite his case by sending a fax to the location where his AP was filed. One should prove an emergency in order to get one. The fax should contain, return fax number, phone and e-mail .If 72 hours have passed and you don’t hear from them, it means you case didn’t qualify as an emergency.

I ALSO have a Sep 10th RD from Nebraska (normal filing - not efiling)
I ALSO phoned today and got this: "Cannot apply for emergency AP because normal AP is pending"....."Send letter to Nebraska asking to expedite AP"

I like your answer better.
Did they give you a fax number - I would like to try it?

One more thing - on my case status main page (the one with all my cases directly after logging in) the last update date changed to todays date, but when I click on the link I see the same (unchanged) message. Also no email.

I know, it is frustrating .I got e-mail, two (same text)e-mails actually. Here is the fax number they gave me
402 323 2594.

Did they specify the format the fax needs to be or what needs to be attached? Also did they say how the emergency needs to be proved?

She read me a list of emergencies over the phone. Most of them were business related(can’t recall any).There is so called ”extreme emergency”,which I believe is like miscellaneous.She didn’t provide any specific format.Attach a letter (your native language),English version that proves emergency and a letter from you explaining why you need them to expedite your case.

I got mine on Friday (got the email 6pm Central Time).

Paul - did you receive your mail yet. Let me know how long it took to get the mail from them.
 
I got it Saturday(november 27th).It was mailed on november 23rd.It took 3 business days to get to me in Chicago
 
Emergency AP

Hello Paulk,

I have applied AP for my wife last month which I need to expedite since we need to travel urgent. I was reading your post and you got it done by sending fax. Do you mind sharing that fax letter with me ? Also it will be helpful if you can let me know what supporting documents are required ?

I didn't get to to fax it.I was about to do it and I got the e-mail with the aproval.
