I applied for my new Advance Parole on May 19, 2003 at Chicago Distt. Office of BCIS. My existing AP expires on June 26, 2003. I am planning to visit India during July 2003 but I haven't heard anything from BCIS yet since my application was submitted. Does anybody know how long Chicago Office is taking to issue AP ? I called BCIS customer service (800-375-5283) and was informed that Chicago BCIS takes 30 days to issue AP.
