I will be applying for an AP for my wife, who is working with an EAD, waiting for GC approval. She has her brother's marriage scheduled for early January, so we are planning to leave in December. I have a few questions regarding the application:
1. Do we need to write a lengthy letter for question 4 and 7 (purpose of travel, Travel circumstances,...) of the I-131 form?
2. How can she apply for an Emergency AP. Is there a special form for this?
3. Can someone give examples of RFE received on AP. Just to avoid waisting valuable time...

Just do the followings:
Write intended date of travel like : Dec 25, 03
Expected travel time : 3 weeks.

Check-- More than one entry check box.

No need for writing any explanation of travel reasons.

We have successfully renewed AP 3 times by our own without any problem.
Apply your AP as soon as possible if you want to do travel in Dec with AP.
 
On a related subject, I'm applying AP myself. Do I need to send the copy of recent I-94 with my application? thanks in advance.

I did send my current I-94 because it's in the CSC guidelines. It is always better to send more then less.
This is the order for documents.

1. Fee Payment- Personal check for $110
2. I-131 Application with photos in attached envelope
3. Color Copy of Advance Parole
4. I-485 Receipts notice copy
5. I-140 Approval notice copy
6. Color Copy of Passports photo Identification pages
7. Copy of I-94
8. Copy of Birth Certificate
9. Copy of Marriage Certificate
 
Thank you all for your help. Any hint about Emergency Advance Parole, I couldn't find any specifics about it in the FAQ.
