AP application

Can I apply for AP myself instead of going to a lawyer?
Will it be judicious to apply on my own?

My RD for I-485 is nov 2001 and this will be my first application for AP. What reason do you generally state for applying AP?

if anyone has applied for AP on their please include a list of documents required.

You can apply for AP on your on. I applied for its renewal last week.

Documents required -

1. AP Application for I-131
2. Copy of I-94 (Front & back)
3. Copy of I-485 Receipt
4. Letter (stating your visit in future)
5. Copy of old AP (If applying for renewal)
6. Money (Check or Payorder in favor of INS)
7. Two INS style Photographs.


Also dont forget to send me check for $300 (consultancy fee)

You forgot to mention that he has to send check for $110.00 per applicant along with the documents (though you did not forget your fees!!!!)

I didn't forget abt Fees, if you read in my post #6 item I did mention MONEY!



Hope we all get approved soon, so we dont have to worry abt all these (EAD/AP) renewals.

I was told 3 photographs (in INS) specified way.

And look for Form I-131

I applied on my own for my wife and she was approved in one month.

Read I-131 application form, You'll find they ask for only 2 Photographs.
