AP application (I-131) question

What is supposed to be filled in Part 1, Box 3 'Class of Admission' for the I-131, AP application? Entered US last time on H-1 (still valid & maintaining). or is this the Eligibility Criteria C(9) for Adjustment of Status applicants.

Had a vaild H1 visa and never bothered to apply for AP so far, but now am thinking of applying hoping that will trigger something on my application, after reading thro this forum. Thanks folks.

Is a fillable pdf form available for I-131 (for Advance Parole)? The one from the USCIS website does not appear to be in a fillable format.
 
Can you stay in H1 after AP if you don't use it ?

Yes - class of admission would be H1B .

My wife used H4 to enter U.S. when she is coming back from India (She had A.P. but did not use it). I have applied A.P. (2nd A.P. as first one is expired) for her last week and I have put Class of Admission as I485 AOS. Do you think it is right or I should have put as H4 since she entered last time using H4 visa? Any replies are appreciated.


(She lost her H4 status recently as she started working starting from this month using EAD and I am still on H1B and not using my EAD. That is why I have put the class of admission as I485 AOS)

Thank you for the note. I was hoping so, since I-765 form on CID website is fillable.

Thank you very much folks. Now let me see whether this AP application will trigger my 485 approval RD/RD Nov. 2001.
