AP application doubts

Do u need to attach 2 letters with I-131?

1. a letter explaining why you need AP
2. covering letter

What's the difference between the 2?

Also, if I have an approval notice for I-140, do I need to attach a copy of I-140 receipt notice too?

Same applies for AP - if I attach a copy of previously approved AP, is it necessary to attach a copy of receipt notice for that AP application?

Somewhere on this board, I saw a full thread containing all the required information necessary to file AP/EAD. Try searching the board.

If I may suggest, try filing through a lawyer. Self help, in general, is for people who has very good knowledge of the subject. This applies everywhere... whether its car repair or home remodelling. Or, self help is fine where the benefit outweights the risk. Decide by yourself.
