AP and wrong date of birth

In my AP Date of Birth is wrong(instead of x/20/xx it is x/25/xx).
How can I get it corrected?
If I use this AP without correction, could it be a problem at POE?

If anybody has related experience please post.

My wife had the same problem. DOB was incorrect. It was wrong by one day. i.e On AP it was 2/27, but her actual DOB was 2/28.

We did not get it corrected. We we came back from our trip to India, we had no problems at the port of entry. So you should be OK
