I am working for “X “ company and got H1B extension recently. After receiving my H1B extension from company “X”. I have filed my GC I-485, I-140, and APO thru another company "Y". I will complete my 6 years by 11/2005. If I go India should I go for stamping? Or should I enter USA using APO approved by Y Company? If so should I mention company "X" or future employer "Y" who is sponsoring GC?

Any experience or advice would be appreciated

If you want you can get the visa stamp. You can still enter on AP but at the POE show your H1 extension approval and ask the officer to parol you in as H1 instead of AOS applicant. In that case your I-94 will be valid till your H1 extension date.

Thanks for your response.

If I enter using AP should I write current employer name or future employer name (Who filed my GC) in I-94? If I go for stamping with current employer will my AP (Future employer) is still valid? Should I notify consulate at the time of stamping?
