AP and EAD Time frame??

I am on 2nd EAD and AP. Half way to the second. How long is it taking for AP and EAD these days? I am thinking if I should apply for the third one.
 
EADs shouldn’t take more than 3-4 months, but mine took almost 6 months to approve. RD 12/4 AD 5/25. Got the card yesterday. I would suggest you apply a minimum of 4 months before your current EAD expires. That way you can get an interim EAD after 90 days if your case is still pending. I filed for AP the same time as my EAD but have not gotten it yet.
