AP and EAD Renewal

Hi Guys,

I would like to do AP and EAD Renewal By myself.

1) Do We need Send in G-28 (Attorney/Representative) form for myself and my dependents.

2) What is the right fees for AP and EAD.

3) Has anybody Tried E-Filing the EAD Renewal....how does it work.

4) can we mail all the documents in the same package... First time we filed all of them together with I485.

I have a Q?

Since my wife is currently visiting India . She is using valid AP.

I was told that I cannot apply for AP Renewal while she is away form USA. However, Can I file EAD Renewal for her.

If Yes what do I mention in the section
" Date/Place and Manner of Last Entry to US".

1) Do I mention the details prior to her trip to India?
2) Do I have to wait till she returns and then apply?

For EAD and AP there are FAQs on this board, do through that and for specific questions, let me try,

1) Do We need Send in G-28 (Attorney/Representative) form for myself and my dependents.

No Need, you can file your application by your self, if you want lawyer representaion then you need G28, otherwise NO. So in your case reply is "NO"

2) What is the right fees for AP and EAD.

AP = $110
EAD = $120

3) Has anybody Tried E-Filing the EAD Renewal....how does it work.

I know Kashmir and I think tasse also did it. There are threads on this issue,

check where to file at BCIS site if you do/don't find the awnser, let this board know.


If your wife is already having valid AP then why do you want to apply for renewal ?

If your wife will be back before her AP expired, I would say let her back and then apply.

I was told there is no such thing as Renewal. Hence have to wait for return... only reason was just incase she wants to extend her stay in India.

On EAD... do you know what should I answer for "Date/Place and Manner of Entry" as she is away currently?

I talked to BCIS national service center They told me to Mail
1) EAD (I-765) to the BCIS, CSC, PO Box 10765, Laguna Niguel
CA , 92607-0765

2) AP (I-131) I could not find any address on the BCIS website and representative had trouble locating the right address as well therefore transferred the call to some other officer. They asked to send it to address given below saying PO Box No. and 4 digits of Zip point to the type of application being received by Service Center.

BCIS, CSC, PO Box 10131, Laguna Niguel CA , 92607-0131

So folks let me know if the above is right!!!!
