Hello,

I have some questions .. I am not sure in which forum to post. So I am posting this message in two forums

I have concurrently filed for I485/I140. My I140 has been approved and it has been more than 180 days since my application was filed . My six year H1-b limit ends in Jan 2004 . So here are my questions

If I do switchjobs and my H1-b is not renewed, and I have a valid EAD, Can I switch to consular prcessing by filing I824 .Is that possible are there any complications associated with this

Since there are 3 things involved viz.
* H-1B extension beyond 6 years
* Change of employers based on EAD
* After job change switch to CP

My impression it is possible but I would advice you to consult a good attorney such as Rajiv Khanna or his paralegal.
