Would somebody please be kind enough to explain the whole process of Adjustment of Status after you have "won" the DV lottery? What is the sequence of events that need to take place? For example: (1) send paperwork to USCIS (2) wait for them to notify you of appointment to have fingerprints taken, (3) Fingerprinting, (4) wait for USCIS to notify of interview, (5) go to interview, etc. Which of these can be done before my number becomes current and which can only be done after my number becomes current? Which of these steps are the ones that HAVE to be completed by the end of the fiscal year?
