AOS questionnaire - please help

In the AOS questionnaire, there is one question on :Have you ever before
applied for permanent resident status in the U.S.?
I had applied for PR in \'98, when I was married to a US citizen, but he
withdrew the petition (by informing the INS) before it got approved as we decided to end our
marriage.

So what should I fill in this section and the corresponding "If yes,
give
date and place of final disposition" question?

this is simple...

say Yes as you DID apply for PR before and then give the details where it was disposed in answer to the second question.
