I have a pending EB3 category AOS. I have my new 2-year EAD card that I received in October. But based on the January Visa dates I'm still probably 1.5 - 2 years away from my EB green card.
But now my wife became a US citizen and we're filing a Family Based green card for me (much faster route). I will of course include a BIG note in the package that I do have a employment based AOS pending and I do have an EAD card (showing photocopy too).
My question is, will I encounter any problems regarding EAD cards? I mean since it's part of the AOS package deal now, I do have to pay the $1010 fee whether I want an EAD card or not. So if I file the I-765 as part of the package, will I get a new EAD card with no problem? Or will it cause any confusion?
