AOS or CP?

Hello all,
If this is not the right forum for this, please pardon me and guide me to the right one.

I am trying to decide whether I should do AOS or CP as my case is durrent. What are the pros and cons? I have read the normal pros and cons at various websites, I would like to know what is your personal opinion.

I have not been back to home country for 9 yrs. I thought this is a good time and opportunity to take a break.

Came on F1 to H1b. Do not have H1B visa stamped. Is that a red flag? Have always been in good status.

AOS if you ask me - you have the status and the document (one card) that you can use anytime. else, you will have to travel get stamp, may be even renew your passport - unnecessary headaches.
