AOS Interview Missed

Hello All,
I got my AOS interview notice in the mail AFTER the scheduled date of interview . Any ideas what should I do? I am currently on hold at the USCIS National Hotline (I've been on hold for nearly an hour) and I figured that just posting on here may be faster.

You need to write a letter to your DO explaining why you missed the appointment, and asking for a new appointment. Also make an Infopass appointment there to talk to them about it, it might help. You will need to get a motion to re-open your case, because they will have closed it automatically when you didn't appear.

The National Hotline will no doubt be utterly useless.
 
Sounds like a mistake to me. I would still call the 800 number (if you are lucky you won't get hung up ;) )or schedule an Infopass appointment.
