HELP!!! AOS interview date received for old local office!
My husband and I were living in Denver at the time we filed AOS paperwork for me (5 months ago). However, in April of this year, we moved to Florida and I filed (and received notifications) for AR-11, I-865 and letters to the Denver Local Office notifying them of change of address as per the requirements on the BCIS website.
This morning, I received the NOA for the interview except it is scheduled in Denver?!! Can my husband and I take all our paperwork (including the ones we filed to notify them of the address change) and fly to Denver for the interview? Or do I have to wait -- and do something prior to that -- to somehow get myself an interview in the Miami local office?
While the flying to Denver part is easy, I am not sure how these cross-jurisdiction interviews work .. or if they work at all?
Update: I called the National 800 number and the agent told me re-send a letter to the Denver local office saying I've moved to Miami and "just wait to hear from Miami". I don't want to rely on only this method coz obviously my 1st letter to the Denver office is sitting on someone's table and hasn't been recorded yet!
Help please!!
