I got an interview notice for AOS. I am in F1 category (son of US citizen). I applied for AOS using my parent's address, but now after receiving EAD, I have moved to different state for work. I was just wondering if I should change my address to new state or not? If i change my address, would my interview get cancelled?

Need advice what to do?

If you are living in a different immediately inform them of this fact and yes there might be little delay involved in getting a new interview date at your current DO but that's the right way to do it, do not try to hide this fact and try going to the scheduled interview in the old state it might come back later to bite you.

Don't try to change the address at this stage; they'll cancel the interview and you never know when they'll schedule another. Or worse, they'll be slow to process your address change, so on the interview date they'll still expect you to show up at the originally scheduled location, and then you get denied for not showing up.

Make sure you file AR-11 though; AR-11 is required and won't affect your AOS interview location.

Show up for the interview as is, and let them know of the address change at the interview. Also let them know the original address is your parent's address so anything that goes there you will still get it. If they still want to schedule another interview because of the move, so be it. But at least you won't get denied for failing to show up.

The situation is that I recently moved to this area. I am currently living in a motel, trying to find an apartment. I don't have an address yet. What should I do?

If i fill out AR-11, what should i write as my address?

Then your current address for AR-11 purposes is the motel, although it is temporary. The AR-11 specifically allows for temporary addresses (it asks how long you expect to be there if it's temporary).
