AOS interview but birth cert is missing

Hello All,

My wife who is USC but was born in different country. We lost her Birth Certicate but do have copy of it. We have our interview in 2 weeks so there is no chance that she can get her duplicate copy of original certificate.

Will it be OK?

Also my birth certificate is written in different language but I have translated it in english. Does this translated copy need to be attested? I don't know anyone in Boston who is from my country and hence nobody could speak that language so can't get attested. Let me know if this could create any problem.
 
i dont think it will be a problem. they dont ask all documents during interview. If so they might say you to send them by mail later
