AOS - Do we need police clearance certificates for the interview ?

Hi

I was wanting to know if we need police clearance certificates for the AOS interview.

In the forum posts I see that it is mentioned that police clearance certificates are needed for all countries where you have resided for 6 months.

I was wondering whether that was only for CP and not for AOS. I consulted a INS lawyer (not a DV specialty lawyer) and he said that it is not needed for AOS.

Just want to double check as it generally takes 3-6 months to get police clearance certificates.
