AOS & CP what these terms means?

Hello. "AOS" means "adjustment of status" and is applicable for people already living in the United States, e.g. under student or specialty worker visas (F1, H1B, etc.). "CP" means "consular processing" and is for people living outside the US, who will finish the DV processing at a US embassy. You should try searching the forum for old posts (maybe use "glossary", "definition", etc. as keywords in the search), because others have posted detailed explanations in the past.

Good luck to all.
