AOS case status question

What kind of case status is available online once I've filed the AOS application .. currently it just says that case has started processing ... will it get updated once I do my fingerprints to say fingerprints recvd ...etc ... I'm just curious as to what kind of status updates I should anticipate

At USCIS web case status page https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp
you can set up Create/Edit customer portfolio account. Then everytime you log in you can check your case. If you have the receipt numbers you may add more cases to your account. Each time you logged to to these portofolio you can check last date each case has updated. By clicking further you can read the stutas. I noted that the status does not change when your fingure print has been received. But the last date updated will be changed. For example if the last thing you did is fingure print, it will appear the date the finger print was received. At least this is what I observed in my case. Try to set up this. I hope, it will be helpfull.

Thanks for your help ... I did set up an account and see the last updated date as today's date ... just out of curiosity, how long after u did the fingerprints did the date get updated .. i did my fingerprints last week, so i'm assuming they must have recvd it today or maybe this is for something else ...but just wanted to check ..thanks once again !
