May 25th they told me the card was ordered and would be mailed as soon as it is ready.
Today june 1st i got the following message.
This case has been approved. On June 1, 2006, an approval notice was mailed. If 30 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours.
Is my card sent seperately to the approval notice or with it?
I am like a little kid at mail arrival time i am just dying to see what it looks like after all it is going to be with me for 2 years or so.
I want to get to know it as soon as possible :D
Just curious cause it means not hanging around waiting for the mail man for the next week.

Congrats! Approval notice for I485 = green card. I got the same email and got my card a few days after... So you should be getting your card SOON!!!
 
I have not recieved any updates on my wifes pending I-485, no LUD changes or letter for intervew or RFE etc. The case always used to say that its taking between 120 and 180 days to process these types of cases. It was saying the same thing this morning at about 10:00 AM. I checked now and it says

"Application Type: I485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status

Current Status:

Your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received on January 9, 2006. We will mail you a decision as soon as processing is complete. You can use our processing dates to estimate when this case will be done. Follow the the link below for current processing dates"

The 120 to 180 days is no longer there. no LUD or emails etc. Has anyone else had this kind of experience? I am hoping someone will be able to answer this question.

don't sweat it man it takes a long time, it will come as long as you are together it doesn't really matter, panic when you get a deportation letter, which won't happen unless you seriously mess up bad.

Same here. Your and my updates seem to be the same all the time. Anyway mine are as follows:

05/18 Welcome letter was mailed
05/22 Welcome letter received
05/27 Case approved and card ordered
06/01 Your case was approved June 1.

Not sure what the online update is upto but been crazy. I thought it was only happenning to me, not sure what the June 1 update is all about.

My parents approval dates are similar to yours.

05/18 Welcome letter was mailed
05/22 Welcome letter received
05/25 card ordered
05/27 LUD with card ordered message though it was ordered on 5/25
05/30 Card received - only mum's, dad's still pending
06/01 Your case was approved June 1 - only mum's, dad's still same old message that the card is ordered

Until now we've received everything together - mum and dad. But when it came to the actual cards, it changed. We are still waiting for my dad's card.
 
We finally received my dad's card today. Though it was printed on 5/25, it got mailed only on 5/31. But the online message hasn't changed yet.
