My son 5 year old boy is citizen on same day if aos interview is approvt, because one parent is USA citizen.Department for passport said he need just stamp I-551 in his old passport from old country. What you think USCIS in Detroit will stamp old passport by interview if is approvt because USCIS LAW said he is automatikly US citizen ?

I may be wrong, but I thought that your son is US Citizen at birth, regardless your AOS interview since the other parent is an US Citizen

No,child is citizen only if one parent is US citizen by child birth. In my case child is not citizen because after birth of child one parent become US citizen.Child need AOS interview and then is citizen.MY question is: somebody know can my child get I-551 stamp in passport because with this stamp I can aply by US department for passport to get USA passport for my child?Interview will be in Detroit for AOS.

Sorry I misunderstood the situation.
The thing with the AOS=automatic US citizenship for the child is new for me, I've never heard of it...but I'm not very documented in this direction.

I know that a Naturalized USC parent can file a N-600 petition for the child to get a Certificate of Citizenship.

This is true, but only after that child has been admitted to US as an LPR.

I don’t know if they stamp passports in Detroit or not… but you can ask them during your interview. I know in my DO they do stamp passports, even expired ones.
If for any reason they will refuse to do so, then just wait 2 weeks for his GC to arrive and then apply for US passport for your son or/and N-600.
N-600 will take longer and cost you more then getting a new passport for your child, but they both, equally, will proof your son’s new citizenship.
