Background:
My I-485 was filed in May 2002 and I am still waiting for my first fingerprinting letter;
My girlfriend was in the US on J visa with the two year restriction; Currently, she is a student on F visa;
As I have learned, adjustment of status is not possible if the two-year-out-of-the-US residency requirement of J visa is not met (which is the case).
Questions:
If I add my girlfriend to my I-485 for adjustment of status (i.e. merry and file an ammendment), what are the chances that she will get rejected ?
What happens to her F visa and I-20 status in the case of rejection ?
Are there any risks for me ?
