AOS and CP

All,

Need info on any experience regarding the following scenario:

Husband/Wife obtains the GC through AOS in US and the spouse obtains GC through CP in INDIA.

Has anyone gone through this process? Insights would be very helpful especially regarding paper-work, imp points to watch out for and time lag/delay between the 2 processes. Thanks in advance.
 
Both AOS and CP are two different route to get the GC and both are independent of each other. There is a lot of info on this forum. Please dig in.

My wife took the AOS route and I opted for CP. We both had no problems.
