Aos And Consular Processing

I am waiting for the third notice from local USCIS office and my husband who is still in Romania is waiting for me to have the interview behind me because he can not apply for consular processing until I am done with the interviu.

Is there somebody who knows about these kind of cases? If you ever been in my place what did you do?
Please write me if you know somethingthat could help me bring my husband as soon as possible.

I did find out how this works:
If one of the applicants is in the States and does Adjustment Of Status and the spouse is doing Consular Processing then first the AOS has to be approved and then an I824 form Application for Action on an Approved application or Petition has to be filed. this means that the spouses Embassy will be notified that the first aplicants case is approved. And then the Consular Processing can start.
