AOS after out of Status

Hi,

I recently got married to a USC. I was originally on F-1 but I abandoned my studies and started working instead. Now I am preparing to apply for AOS.

Is there anything extra I have to do due to out of status? I am filing I-130, I-485, I-765 concurrently.

I live in Evansville, IN. Am I suppose to send the application to Chicago? When I checked the timeline for I-130 in Chigaco it's not there. So I'm confused if I should send it all together there or to different places.

Anywho who recently filed to Chicago please help me out. I am also wondering if there is a rapid program like in Dallas of if there are plans.

Any suggestions is appreciated as the pile of paperwork is mounting.

The only place that has a rapid program is Dallas and you (or better say your sponsor) must be a resident in Dallas.
Yes, all are file to Chicago Lockbox, when you download the forms the first page talk about the filing, check that for family based - immediate relatives of a USC must file in Lockbox.

Your out of status will be forgiven because you are an immediate relative of a USC.

Your out of status will be forgiven for the green card application. However, if you are out of status for 180 days or more, then you should not leave the US till you get your green card. Basically, don't travel on your AP.

I applied for my wife on October 12th for I-485, AP and EAD. Fingerprinting took place end of October, still waiting for AP and EAD.
