How much wait to get interview in San Frnacisco

Hi,
In my case I heard the message on AVM that your case has transfered to local INS office San Francisco for interview on 02/25/2002. How much time does it take to get the interview apponitment letter? My RD is 07/10/2001.

Another question I have if I change the address during wait what are the consequences?

It used to be 4-6 months, but I am waiting for 6 months so far... lawyer said it will take at least 2 to 3 more months...

Apply for AP extension and EAD (second year) 01/02
AP extension Xfer for interview 03/02 - I had never heard before that AP goes to local office for interview!

My case was transferred to SFO Disctrict Office for further interview process on March 16 2002 after finger printing. I am still waiting for the interview. Can anybody share some thoughts on how long it does take to get an interview appointment from San Francisco? I would sincerely appreciate any feed back.

Just as a background info.

I am one of among the few who did not do my reaseach, misunderstood the question on my I485 application and answered "No" for the question posed on arrests. I did get into a DWI situation in NY. I am convinced this has flagged my case for the interview. I sincerely wish people do not commit the same mistake like me and get into a terrible situation. Please answer "Yes", if you are convicted on any DUI,DWI and furnish court conviction details with the I485 application.
