hi! just wanted to start a thread for applicants that received their AORs with the stated "36 weeks" (or whatever was written in your AORs). what have your experiences been? has it been 36 weeks, less or more? could you state your timelines/nationality/where you applied? hope to get a lot of feedback. it sure would help out a lot throughout this whole waiting process.

here's my timeline: (in US - from Philippines)
app: jul 2005
aor: jul 2005 - 36 weeks
still waiting...

thanks!

Isn't there any one in this forum that had "36 weeks" stated in their AORs? i'm sure there are a lot of you out there...care to share your experience? thanks!

i guess they're taking longer than 36 weeks...it's been 42 weeks for me and i haven't heard back from them. the scary thing is CIC might have sent a letter (requesting for add'l docs/IELTS) that i might not have received (read through other threads/forums of similar instances) and end up receiving an "application denied" letter for not submitting the requested docs.
i'm thinking i will email them to request for the status of my application.
