A friend of mine commutes back and forth between Seattle and Vancouver.
He stays in a rented place during the week, and when the whistle blows on Friday, he heads back for a hideous 3-4 hour commute to spend time with his family in Vancouver.
I don\'t know your situation, but If you\'re asking because you want to go back and forth between the two every day, FORGET IT. It\'s not possible, there\'s usually 4 hours each way, plus any border snafus that can delay you.
If you want to do a weekend thing, as I mentioned above, it\'s pretty stressful, and if you\'re single, just rent a place down there the whole time. If you\'ve got family, then it\'s probably the best option, but less an option than getting a local job.
