Anyone with Lname "MOHAMMED" got NC cleared Recently ??

Hello to all my co GC sufferers

Just curious to know if anyone got NC cleared recently with thier lastname being as MOHAMMED and from INDIA .

My case stuck with FBI since 2004 feb , called Senator's office they said they cant do anything onthis cause lastname is so common might have been stuck there.

Unless its life and death situation they will not be able to help in this case .

Just wanted to see if anyone else suffering with me ..
 
Hi,

No matter what your last name, you have been stuck in the name check too long. In this situation, many people decide to file a writ of mandamus lawsuit to force USCIS to adjudicate the GC application. Try to have documentation for all the times you have requested help in discovering information concerning your name check. This will help prove to the Court that you have done everything within your power, outside of filing a lawsuit, to finish the name check process. In fact, if you havent already done so, it might be helpful to e-mail some Senators, Congressmen and file an Infopass appointment to have further documentation that you are stuck in the name check.

These WoM lawsuits have been highly successful in helping people receive their greencard after being stuck in the FBI name check for many years. The success rate does fluctuate though depending on the jurisdiction you can file in. Where do you live in New York and which Service Center are you stuck in?
