Anyone with labor subst and got RFE in 140?

Friends,

I got the labor substitution last year and applied for my I-140 in october 2003 and I-485 in November 2003, today I received an email from USCIS stating that they sent the RFE.

Before I get the RFE and it details, I would like to know whether we have anyone in the forum with labor substitution and got RFE? IF so, what was it?

My company has thousands of employees with a turn over of 1.7 billion dollars.

I dont know what could be the reason for RFE?!?!?!?!? Any idea guys?

Aren't you the guy who initiated inquiry for your I140 by yourself? Do you think it might be result of that?

Thank you very much for your input, I will keep you guys updated with the status.

I think, it is because I initiated the query they looked into my case! I didnt know that the candidates cannot initiate the query, I just called them and asked about the status and they said they can initiate the query, they asked me for all the info and thats it!! :confused:

Once I get the RFE details I should be able to tell whether it fastened the process because of raising the query or it is the other way round!!

I will keep posted. As of now... just pray for me....!

Antropeter, even though I have not received a RFE on my case, I think I will be receiving one soon. I am EB2, labor substitution .. ND March 22, 2004. I will let you know if I receive the RFE and what are the contents ...
 
Hmm I am not sure if you get RFE just because your case is a substitution though I think there is an additional check at the 140 level. As all the gurus know, the education, excerience and skills set of the person being substituted should almost exactly match the approved labor substitution. Also this has to be matched as of the date the original labor application date but not just at present.

If not, I am sure you will see an RFE even if the company is financially sound.

Labor Substitution

my case is Labor sub too, EB3 filed 140/485 concurrent on june 25 2004. Will let you guys know if there is any updates on my case. EAD/AP approved july 21st.
 
Data from and for all who have Filed with labor Substitution

It would be a Good Idea if everybody who have Filed with Labor Substitution should post their Data either in this thread or a fresh ones.(Category and Concurrent or not should not matter).

Administrators, Please do not have any objection to this as we are not in any way duplicating the postings on 2004 Tracker but creating a new one which requires separate Tracking so as to enable the Petitioners know the Trends and possible differnet Scenarios and be better prepared for the same.

If its not a good idea to maintain a Separate Excel, lets just psot our Data and maintain it individually for our Refernce and Records.
