Hi,

Have been waiting for the name check to clear from July 2003.

Any other unfortunate souls such as me?

Let's stay in touch and keep tabs.

I have had no LUD changes from Feb onwards after i initiated a status check.

I140/485 concurrent filing on Jul 2003
I140 AD: Apr 2004
1st FP: Sep 2004
Running on 3rd EAD, 3rd AP. H1 expired on Apr 2005.
Changed employer, applied AC21 in Oct 2004.
Got NOID issued on Mar. 2005 since my previous employer withdrew approved I140, one year after I140 approval.
NOID Responded by Apr 2005.
I485 AD???
 
Waiting since July 2003. I-140 cleared in Aug 2004. Name check not cleared per FBI :mad:

Hi Testing_Times,

Do you know if your Name check has been completed? Did you send an e-mail to FBI? I am also in the same boat as you. got the security Check and manpower crap for me too. I am trying to find out if this is due to Name Check pending or some thing else.

I called yesterday and I was told they are working on Dec end emails right now. The last I heard was a Dec 21 email response. Dec 23 email has not recvd a response yet. I hope to get a response (mine is Jan 4) next week or week after next. I too got a FOIPA response - 'no records'. But I am waiting for the email. I hope they update USCIS when send the email response.
 
i guess it is a good idea to keep emailing every month so that they will respond in sequence on a regular basis....

right now all of us are stuck in a helpless situation...not our fault...

i hope INS really improves and helps out people like us stuck in a limbo
