Anyone used 180-day and \'same or similar job\' to get GC?

I\'m just curious if INS officers give a hard time about not doing the exact same job as the one in the labor application? (lot of jobs don\'t exist in the D.O.T. so my company used one that sounds similar, just curious if it\'s gonna cause problems at time of approval?).
What if H1 application had a different job title in it?
Thanks.

No Title

I don\'t think it should be a problem as long as the job description is fairly similar. I changed my job based on the 180 day rule and as in your situation my job titles were different. However, the nature of the job was same and I was approved a few months ago. Good luck!

Job Description vs Job Requirements

Job Description can differ beacause it will be specific to the job you are doing - like working on some product in your company. I believe job requirement has to be similar - like what kind of technologies are needed. Is this correct?

Can you please answer some more questions?

Zeedawg,

Did you get any RFE?
Did they ask any Qstns. at interview?
What if your previus desig. is prog.analyst/Consultant,(GC sponsor) and at the new employer after 180 days your desig. is Systems Engineer/Systems Analyst?

Thanks for your time and answers.
