Anyone travels to China using AP recently?

I am planning a trip to home this late August and I am doubt that I will be lucky enough to have my PP stamped by that time. So I may have to use AP.

Any recent experience??

Just came back with AP on June 8th.

Everything went very smoothly. We came in at Detroit. They took your documents (passport and AP) to a small room where cases like AP, immigration visa etc. are processed. We waited about 45 minutes there and got our documents back with stamps of AOS on passports. No questions asked.
