anyone there whose namecheck completed without doing anything

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone who was in namecheck did not do anything (no infopass, no mails to senators, no action taken, just waited) and their namecheck got completed. If so, how much time did it take?

I had applied in April 06. I was called for the interview in Jan 07. My name check was completed on it's own in 8-9 months. I did not have to contact lawyers or senators to expedite the name check.

No way. Case status online would misguide you instead of guiding you, s don't count on it please. I would advice you to make an infopass apptt at your local DO and ask one of the officers there. They have much more to tell you than you could find online.
 
Well My Interview is on Nov. 1 and I applied last year in October. Yes I did one Infopass but it was to confirm the addy change, nothing else. Since I got my Interview I am hoping my Backgroundcheck is completed. That is why I am responding to this one

Usually USCIS don't schedule interviews unless background checks (including name check) is done. Chances are good that your background check must be finished by now, but again you are dealing with USCIS, be prepared for the worse. You can expect anything. If u get a chance, you can make an infopass apptt to double check to make sure with what's going on.
