Anyone succesfully used "progressive experience" under current employer?

under the section "ALIEN EXPERIENCE"
it mentions a couple of ways
in which an alien could potentially use current employers experience to his
count.

i have 3 yrs experience before current employer and 4.5 yrs with current
employer. If i could prove my experience as 'progressive' is it possible
for me to qualify for EB-2.

do any one of you know a case successfully approved or rejected going this way?
