has anyone recently applied for AP ( marriage based) at the national benefits center? My receipt date is 03/25/05 and the notice states it will take 60-90 days to process.Please share your experiences if anyone has received their AP before a 60 day frame. thankyou.
 
fanta1 thanks fr your reply but can you share some more details on that? did you receive your AP in the mail or did you have to go to the local office with an infopass? how long was the AP valid? when you renentered the USA on AP were there too many questions asked? Any other info you have will be appreciated. Thank you
 
You will receive it by mail. It will be valid for one year. I did not travel abroad so I can't give you any tips here. But what I was told....it is without any problems. Just take copys of your Notice of action I-485 with you and you should be ok. I assume you have never been out of status in the US and you came here legally. So you don't have to worry.
 
AP approved

Just checked my online status whch shows the AP was approved on June 2. I guess it will take them at least a week to mail it.Just wanted to share this recent update.

My AP receipt date is 3/15/05. Still I have no online approval, whatsoever. I called USCIS on Friday and they said cases of 3/15 had been processed the day before, last Thursday. Do you think there might be a problem with my case? If so, how long does it take to correct it? Aren't they supposed to send a notice for that? - Thanks

Arashk it might be a good idea to write to NBC and send them a copy( keep the original with you) of the receipt notice .The 1800 nos really dont help when it comes to having any kind of trouble. Mine took almost 65 days to approve.Or then you could wait for the 90 days period as they do state in the receipt notice 30-90 days. all the best
 
Thank you. I just sent a letter to them. I am travelling on June 30 and I don't have time for the 90 day waiting.

I had the same situation before. I sent them thousands of letters, they never replied. They won't make exception to anyone. They process the application according to the order they came in.
 
Is the A/P processing timeline accurate?

Anybody received A/P approval online recently? They received my application June 8th but on 8/8 it shows they are already processing receipts received 6/12, but my online status haven't got updated at all.

I'm scheduled to travel outside the country on 8/20 and I'm really worried that I won't be able to make it...Does anybody know if I-131 is tied to the I-765? I haven't done my fingerprint for I-765 yet simply becuz they are all booked until later time. I'm hoping they don't put my I-131 on hold becuz I filed it together with I-765 and they can't process my I-765 for now.

Did anybody get any luck requesting an emergency A/P at local office?
